Event will be held regardless of weather.
Fares:
Adults: $ 12.00 (13 & up)
Children: $ 8.00 (2 to 12)
Note: Children under 2 ride free when held, car seats not permitted.
- Advance Reserved Tickets Required.
- Groups wishing to be seated together must purchase their tickets at the same time. Seating is assigned for this event.
- Group rates & passes not honored.
- NO walk-up available on day of event.
Our train ride aboard the "Carson Express" is approximately 1-hour round
trip, traveling north to Carson Yard "The North Pole." Santa's village has
been set up there and as the train pulls in Santa will waive to all before
boarding with Mrs. Claus and helpers.
Santa and his crew will Visit with all on the return trip, presenting a small gift to each child. The very small ones receive
animal crackers. Time is available for picture taking with Santa, Mrs. Claus and their helpers at the depot.
All coaches are enclosed, decorated for the season, and heated. There
is one lavatory available after leaving town. Port-a-Johns are at the station.
- GROUP SEATING - Parties wishing to sit together must order all their tickets at the same time. Unfortunately, later add-ons are not possible.
- PAID RESERVATIONS are available beginning Saturday September 5th regular weekends at our ticket booth through November 1st, season end.
- PHONE RESERVATIONS - begin on October 1st by calling 440/576-6346 or 216/759-5772 weekdays 9:00AM to 6:00PM and weekends 9:00AM through Noon.
- FINAL DAY FOR PHONE RESERVATIONS:
- Friday November 27th for departures on Saturday November 28th
- Friday December 4th for departures on both Saturday December 5th and December 6th.
- Friday December 11th for departures on both Saturday December 12 and December 13th.
- MAILED IN RESERVATIONS - Must be received not later then Wednesday November 25th, regardless of date selected.
- TICKET SALES BECOME FINAL 48 HOURS PRIOR TO DEPARTURE.
- There are no exchanges or refunds on the day of departure.
- INTERNET SITE IS NOT SECURE please do not use it for reservations or payment, call us for information and purchasing your tickets.
- Answering machine messages are returned so be sure to leave a complete phone number including your area code. And don’t leave a credit card number for payment. We will get back with you.
- Seating availability is on a first come basis.
Weather Considerations - This event will be run unless the weather
becomes extreme and it is not possible to safely operate a passenger
train. At that time the day's event will be canceled
All ticket holders of record will be notified and prepaid reservation
will be refunded by either check or credit to their credit/debit card depending
upon original payment method. No cash refunds given.
